The puppies are now 48 hours (plus) old, and already know the best place at the milk bar. This takes a bit of management on my part, to ensure the 2 greedy ones, don't always monopolise the prime spot! Yesterday, Thea, the webmaster and my special friend, (who also has a 'Hollieseast' dog - Jet - can be seen on the stud dog page) came to take photo's and a video clip of the newborns, to make a separate page for the 'S' litter. On this page, I shall post regular news and pictures of the growing puppies, for all their families to follow their progress. |

The 'S' litter has arrived. 8 puppies were born between 6pm Friday and 2.30am Saturday. Those of you who wanted a dog puppy, will be happy and those who had no preference - it's still a dog puppy :-) As 'Kiri' whelped 7 dogs and 1 bitch, as I said - nature will do what nature will do. The puppies weighed between 12 and 14 ozs. at birth and are lovely! They are pictured here, just a few hours old. Look out for more photo's and news of their progress :-) |

The puppies are on their way! 'Kiri' had a very restless night and has started the first stage of labour. This photo shows her out for a walk this morning, to get things moving. Luckily, it's a lovely Autumn day :-) Watch this space............ This stage lasted almost 24 hours, before the puppies made their appearance!! |

Salla sends news from Finland, where her puppy 'Banza' (Ghostmoors Joy Sirius Nova ) - won B.O.B in the 'Baby Puppy 5 to 7 months class' and went on to win puppy group 4. This was 'Banza's 1st Championship show, held at Orivesi, Finland. 'Banza' is pictured here with her winning rosettes, trophy and food, supplied by the show sponsers. 'Banza' was bred by Simona Medricka and is a grandaughter of our 'Klara, as her mother is Champion Hollieseast Perlenkette, bred by me and owned by Simona. |

Out for her daily constitutional - which is now taken rather sedately - Kiri still enjoys checking out the 'cover' for possible gamebirds. At this time of year, she usually manages to find something worth flushing out:-) |

| This photo, taken on a rare sunny day shows a very 'porky' Kiri - who is nearing the end of her pregnancy :-) Our dogs love to lie in the sun, when they get a chance - even if it's on a tatty piece of vetbedding, as here!! |

| At the Weimaraner Club of G.B. Championship show, Elke won 2nd place in Graduate Bitch - a class of 13. The judge, Frank Kane (Hirontower) was very complimentary about her :-) This photo was taken by Clare Worsford, at the ringside - thank you Clare - I look terrible, but Elke looks great! |

Simona sends news from her holiday in Croatia, (with wonderful photo's of her swimming with the dogs in clear blue sea and plenty of sunshine) - that Kenzi (Ch. Hollieseast Perlenkette) has gained her title in Poland and Slovakia, as well as the Czech Rep. where she lives. Kenzie has also started her title in Croatia and Germany - so we hope for our first 'Multi-Champion'. Kenzi is very special, as she suffered an horrendous accident when only a 10 month old puppy. Her left hind leg was broken in two places and had to be pinned with steel rods and plated. She still bears the scars, but has gone on to become not only a champion, but an excellent working dog with the highest marks recorded at a field and water test - held by the Weimaraner Club of CZ. |

'Klara' took her grand daughter 'Elke' for a swimming lesson and showed her how water retrieves are perfected :-) Both girls were competing for the 'dummy' and ended up doing dual retrieves! As I didn't take any photo's of them swimming that day, this photo ( taken at the same location) shows our dogs enjoying themselves together. |

We are pleased to announce that our lovely 'Kiri' was mated to Sh.Ch. Lex Terrea and puppies are hoped for on or around September 26th 2008 :)
Lex lives with his young owner in Lincolnshire and is worked on local shoots and shown regularly. He gained his Show Champion title last year and is still winning classes at Championship shows in England and more recently, in Ireland also, where he gained more 'green stars, towards his Irish title' and 'Reserve best in show' at Tralee Ch.show. |

The 'R' litter celebrated their 1st birthday (along with my not 1st birthday) and this photo of 'Elke' was taken at the N.E.W.S. Championship show, where she again qualified for 'Cruft's 2009.
'Elke' has grown very quickly (too fast really) and now is taller and bigger all round than her lovely mother 'Kiri'.
Following our tradition of breeding from good examples, 'Elke' will form part of our future breeding plans. |

At the 'Gorleston and Great Yarmouth' Open Show at the Norfolk showground - Easter Sunday. 'Elke' won her class and went on to win 'Best of breed' and 'Best Puppy' also.
At the same show last year, her uncle 'Molsen' was B.O.B so we're keeping it in the family:) |

We have received fabulous news from Simona Medricka in the Czech Republic - J.Ch Hollieseast Perlenkette (Kenzie) achieved 98/100 at the autumn Field and Water tests held by the Weimaraner Club of the Czech Republic. This was the highest placing of the day. Many congratulations to Simona and Kenzie!

Elke (left) and litter sister Sophie attended their first ringcraft session where they spent the evening watching the other dogs, which was a nice socialisation exercise. Sophie has since gone to her new home with Ros and Phil in Huntingdonshire, where we know she is loved and cherished. |

Hollieseast Polarkreis ('Jet') is awarded a MERIT on his Grade I HPR assessment. His final score of 88/100 was just 2 points off a DISTINCTION. Field Trial judge Alan Penney was highly complimentary about 'Jet's potential and maturity for such a young dog. We are sure Jet will go on to bigger and better things in the field......watch this space! |

Junior Champion Hollieseast Perlenkette (Kenzie) gains almost full marks in 'Hunting and Pointing' tests run by the Weimaraner Club of Czech Republic, and is graded 'Excellent'. We await further news of results from the 'Water Exams', part of the all-round field and show qualifications required, similar to the test system in Germany and Austria. |

| Easter 2007 - Puppy News Update |
|
Kiri was mated to Shishoni Storm at Silverghost Sh.CM ('Bailey') on Easter Monday. We have had her scanned and puppies are due on 11th June. 'Bailey' is pictured here with his owner, Andy Smith.
We're really excited about this particular litter, as it combines the very best bloodlines of both Sire and Dam. We plan to keep a bitch puppy to carry on the 'Hollieseast' line.
Our puppy will be trained for the show ring - it would be great to see another from this litter joining her !
