Born in March 1999, Klara is now the matriarch in our dog family and is the Dam of the N, O and P litters. She is a daughter of our (late) fabulous 'Heidekirsche' from whom she has inherited her superb true ‘silver grey' coat colour, which she in turn passed on to her progeny.
Klara has numerous show wins to her credit, including Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show at a Weimaraner Club Open Show in the past. Klara's championship show awards include winning the Reserve CC at the South Wales Championship Show in 2002. Her hip score is good, being well below the breed average and she has her K.C. Stud Book number.

| Klara has proved to be the most wonderful mother to her offspring, and cared for her puppies with devotion. She is the mother of Multi-Champion Hollieseast Perlenkette, living in the Czech Republic, who has her German - Polish - Slovakian and Czech championship titles. Now a grandmother, Klara still loves to spend time, cleaning and caring for puppies, when she gets a chance!! Her gentle nature and silky coat make her a favourite with our grandchildren. She is a wonderful swimmer and can teach the youngsters a 'thing or two' when it comes to water retrieves. She is the special favourite dog of my grandson Lewis and I count myself fortunate to have bred such a lovely bitch. |

Kiri was our current brood bitch. Named in memory of her late beautiful grandmother 'Heidekirsche' whom she so resembles in conformation and colour. Kiri was born in August 2002 and made her show debut aged just 6 months and 4 days old, at the Weimaraner Association Limit Show, where she won Best Puppy in Show. Following this win, she was Best Puppy Bitch at the Weimaraner Association Championship Show, and again Best Puppy in Show at the Mid-Herts Gundog Club.
Her winning ways continued with 10 x Best Puppy in Breed awards, and 5 x Best of Breed awards at open shows, plus group placings during puppy-hood. These wins at open and championship shows gained Kiri her Junior Warrant and KC Stud Book number.

Not just a pretty face, she is an avid hunter, swims well, and along with her mother Klara, shows natural ability in the field. Kiri is the dam of the 'Q' 'R' and 'S' litters, she is hip scored and DNA profiled and formed part of our plans to continue breeding Weimaraner's, conforming to breed type, colour and temperament. Her 2 daughters, Elke and Liesle, will hopefully take on this role in the future, from their beautiful mother - who is now retired from maternal duties. |

Elke is the older of 'Kiri's 2 daughters here at Hollieseast. Born June 2007, we had seven lovely bitches in this litter of 10. It was very difficult to make a choice, as all the puppies were of show quality. In the end it came down to very minor details for the show ring. In addition to her classic conformation, Elke has the personality we look for when choosing a puppy for showing. Her extrovert nature and sunny personality, delight all visitors to our home. Elke is hip scored, as is all our breeding stock, and our plan to breed her has now taken place. She has been mated and puppies are due March 2010. Elke has a new playmate in her baby sister Liesle, of whom she was very jealous at first - but now adores, and is teaching Liesle how to 'dig for victory' in the garden, along with other naughty tricks!! Although very lightly shown during the past year ( due to a spinal injury) she has, never-the-less invariably been highly placed in classes at Championship and Open Shows, also qualifying for Cruft's 2010. However, she will not be going, as we hope she will have a litter of puppies to care for :0)

Liesle was born in September 2008. The one and only bitch puppy in a litter of 8. My 'wish for' list had been for at least 3 bitches, so I could have a choice - but it wasn't to be! However, due to her breeding, she looked very promising. So far, (although it's early days), she appears to be fulfilling that early promise - but it remains to be seen what the future holds as she grows and develops. She does have the sweetest nature and a lovely temperament, coupled with a silver coat. 3 puppies from the 'S' litter are in the show ring. Liesle and a brother (Sarchie) here in the UK and another brother (Sam) in the Czech Republic, where he now lives. Our little girl's Championship show debut, was at the North of England Weimaraner Society's Championship show in April - where she qualified for 'Cruft's 2010'. Since then she has competed at 'Open and Championship shows', winning so far; 12 X 'Best Puppy in Breed' - 5 X gundog puppy group 1 - 3 x gundog puppy group 2 - 2 x 'Best Puppy in Show 3' - 3 x 'Reserve Best Puppy in Show' and BOB x 2 with Group 1 and 2 placings. She was also 'Best Puppy in Breed' at both Windsor & East of England Championship shows. These many awards have resulted in her qualifying for the 'Weimaraner of the Year' competition as well as the 'East Anglia Super match'. As the youngest addition to the 'Hollieseast' family, Liesle enjoys being indulged by her mother, grandmother and 'big' sister on a daily basis! |
